A Sudanese Fulani cow.Place of Origin - Central Mali, Northern Burkina Faso, inland delta of Niger River
Relationship to other breeds - Adamawa (Cameroon), Diali (Niger), Fellata (Chad), Gobra (Senegal), Red Bororo, White Fulani (Nigeria)
Characteristics - The color pattern varies. This is the classical black and white color pattern in the breed.
Breed Societies - French Peul
Synonyms - Hausa Filani, Fulani or Fulawa. Singular Fula or Fulah.
Proscribed Names - Kanouri (Chad) Fellata or Filata
