Found in the regions ofA maremmana cow eating grass. Maremma, Tuscany and Latium in Italy, the Maremmana is primarily raised for meat production although they were formerly used as a draft animal. The calves are born red and turn grey as they reach maturity. The bulls have long, open-lyre horns and the females have cresent shaped horns.
