The Belarus Black Pied is found in the region Three black and white spotted pigs laying in a pen.surrounding Minsk in Belarus. It has been around since the mid-1800's. It is a meat and lard breed which was developed from Large White, Large Black, Berkshire and Middle White crossed with local breeds. However the Belarus lost its popularity in the 1950 when lean meat had more demand. The sows can have up to 2 litters per year, having about 20-24 piglets. It is white with large light brown to black spots covering the face and back.
